In summary, Dorothy Jane is the grandmother of Founder and Designer, Emily Jane Mavridoglou. Because Dorothy lived in Arizona and Emily lived in Ohio they shared life experiences with one another with handwritten notes. In fact, Emily fell in love with paper goods as she searched for the perfect stationery to send to her grandmother.
Emily enjoyed receiving letters from Dorothy. Dorothy had the most beautiful and perfect handwriting. Because of its significance, Emily chose to recreate Dorothy's signature from all of the letters she kept from her, for the brandmark.
